Survey: How many of the public are against Ben Gabir Kosher for National Security?

According to a survey by a sample institute headed by Manu Geva in collaboration with I-Panel, published last night (Friday) in “Olan Shishi” – the majority of the public does not believe that the new government will solve the wave of terrorism. When 52% of the general public do not believe that Netanyahu and Ben Gvir will have a solution to terrorism and 31% believe that they do. But among Netanyahu bloc voters no less than 55% believe that the new government will have a solution to the wave of terrorism.

In addition, according to the survey, 49% of the public is satisfied with the appointment of Itamar Ben Gabir as Minister of National Security and 46% of the public is not satisfied with the appointment. Among a group of Netanyahu opponents, 80% of Gush voters oppose the nomination of Ben Gabir Kosher for National Security.

Regarding the superseding clause that will prevent the High Court from invalidating laws of the Knesset that were passed by a majority of 61 – 32% of the general public in favor and 49% of the public against. While in the Netanyahu group 58% support the superseding clause compared to 20% opposed.

Regarding the “Deri Law” of MK Moshe Arbel, Aryeh Deri was allowed to serve and states that those who have been convicted and sentenced to a suspended sentence can become ministers. A large majority of the public opposes the “Deri Law”: 59% oppose the law compared to 22% who support it, also in the Netanyahu bloc the majority of the public is against changing the law 43%, compared to 29% who support it.

Also according to the survey – 61% are not satisfied with the appointment of Bezalel Smotrich as Minister of Finance compared to 28% who are satisfied. 61% are not satisfied with the appointment of Aryeh Deri as Minister of the Interior and 33% are satisfied. 55% are satisfied with the appointment of Yoav Galant as Minister of Defense while 32% are not satisfied.
