Shooting incident in Petah Tikva: A motorcyclist was shot near the Pencil intersection

A short time ago, a motorcyclist was shot near the pencil intersection in the Am Moshavot neighborhood. The rider was moderately injured, is conscious and is being taken to Blinson Hospital. Police forces are at the scene to investigate the circumstances of the incident, the background is criminal.

MDA spokesman, Zachi Heller: At 8:34 p.m., a report was received at MDA’s 101 hotline in the Yarkon region, about a young man who was injured in a violent incident, on Zebulon Hamer road near the Eifron intersection, at Petah Tikva. MDA medics and paramedics provide medical treatment and refer to Linson Hospital, an 18-year-old man in moderate condition, conscious, with penetrating injuries.

MDA paramedic Zvi Tiber said: “The injured man was lying on the road near the motorcycle while fully conscious and suffering from penetrating injuries to his body. We gave him life-saving medical treatment and evacuated him to the hospital when he is in moderate and stable condition.”
