The chairman of the state camp and outgoing defense minister Benny Gantz refers to the possibility that he will join Netanyahu’s sixth government, saying that the chance is slim. However, Gantz did not rule it outright and said that there is one scenario that would make him consider it.
In an interview with ‘Khan Haudas’, Gantz said: “As far as I’m concerned, Netanyahu has lost the political credit I can give him. It is Netanyahu’s responsibility that the government be responsible and not extreme, and I hope he will prove it.”
Gantz added that “I do not currently have a foreseeable scenario in which I join this government”, however he emphasized that “if the State of Israel is in tangible and immediate danger – then I will decide what I do”.
