Rahul’s ‘bearded’ police is annoying to Shefiq’s happiness

Directed by Anoop Pantalam, Unni Mukundan starrer Shefiq’s Joy released on November 25. Set as a feel-good entertainer in a rural setting, the film revolves around a young man named Shefiq.
Shefiq is innocent who only wants the good of his countrymen and family. Shefiq’s happiness is fulfilling the wishes of others and doing good. But the film tells about the problem that Shefiq gets due to his good heart and the subsequent developments.
Rahul Madha also acted in a guest role in the film. SI Rahul played the role of Ajith Rangan in the film. The crucial change in the storyline itself comes with the arrival of Ajith Rangan.
But despite being a policeman, Ajith’s character appears in the film with a beard. The reason for this is that my grandmother died. The reason is that you cannot shave your beard after 16 days. But it didn’t seem to suit the film at all. Ajith Rangan’s beard has become something that creates a hindrance to movie enjoyment. The situation where this character comes into Shefiq’s life also seems illogical.
The women in the neighborhood who didn’t even know the lyrics of Janganamana and didn’t even realize that it was the national anthem seemed like a very illogical comedy.
Unni Mukundan played the central role as Shefi. Unni Mukundan’s performance is also noteworthy. Shefiq is a very emotional good character. Shefik bears some resemblance to the protagonist of Meppadiyan. Manoj K. The ayurvedic doctor played by Jayan also had some good comedy moments.
One of the most interesting characters in the film was Bala’s Ameer. So far, Bala has mostly done serious or villainous roles. Unlike this, Bala played a funny character in the film. Bala’s dialogues mixed with Tamil slang in his own voice were also interesting.
