The shooting down of the drone by BSF lady constables in an incident where drugs weighing around three kilograms were sent from Pakistan to Punjab by a drone has won praise.

A drone flew suspiciously from Shakarpur, a village bordering Pakistan, around 11 pm on Monday. At that time, the BSF women constables who were on border security duty in the area shot down the suspicious drone.

The drone, which has six rotors weighing 18 kg, was carrying around three kg of drugs. The authorities who seized it are conducting an investigation in this regard. The officials also praised the women guards who shot down the drone.
