Cheaper, greener… These municipalities are converting thermal transport into electric

Next summer, tourists will cross Lake Annecy on electric boats. It has been several months since the Compagnie de navigation du lac decided to go green… but without buying any new boats. The two catamarans and three monohulls built in the 1960s will benefit from a facelift: their internal combustion engines will be converted to electric.
