Inflation: why food prices will rise again in 2023

It is a new wall of inflation that stands before consumers for the year 2023. If in November, the prices of food products are already jumping by 12% over one year, a new surge, this time of at least 10 %, could again hit the French in the wallet next year. The exact level will be known at the end of the annual negotiations between manufacturers and distributors which set the prices of consumer products for the coming year and which begin on December 1 and end, at the latest, at the end of February 2023. But already, food companies are demanding double-digit increases.
