The satellite images that Der Spiegel published late Wednesday evening of the Russian Engels-2 airbase near Saratov give the Ukrainians a bad glimpse: on the Monday the photos date from, dozens of fighter jets were apparently being prepared for possible new airstrikes, including long-range bombers of the Tu-95 and Tu-160 type, which have previously been used to fire cruise missiles at targets in Ukraine.
