One day many years ago, a news spread in Qatar.
We are under siege..there will be shortage of essential goods.
With a worried mind
We also went to the nearest supermarket
Went in a hurry..
Full of people.
Fearing that they will not get water and rice, they buy it even if it upsets the monthly budget.
It didn’t take an extra day. Qatar survived those crises.
The days when we felt as safe as under the wings of a mother hen.
So the message of the World Cup that comes through any crisis period is only one.
And who is oppressed in the world… From there they rise like phoenixes.
Or, without realizing the strength within, they will always flow as one in a group or one in a group.
While seeing the crises and survival that Qatar has gone through with pride,
It’s not the grandeur of World Cup stadiums or fan fests that make me happy.
It is the joy of people from different countries who come to participate in it.
