Popular crypto exchange Finance has temporarily suspended cryptocurrency exchanges, according to CEO Changpeng Zhao.
The temporary suspension has been implemented following attacks on technology like Ankr and Hay. Around $3 million in transactions by the hackers have also been frozen, he said.
These technologies like Ankr and Hay run popular crypto apps like Finance. Hackers who attacked it stole the personal information of the developers working there.
Confirming the attack, Ankr Technology said it has instructed DEXes, the marketplace where cryptocurrencies are traded, to temporarily halt crypto exchanges and is working on a fix.
