An independent committee of governance experts has been formed to form a new body for the Sri Lankan Cricket Board.
This has been reported by the Ministry of Sports and the Ministry of Sports has informed the court that it has decided to create this new Yapin.

On behalf of the Ministry of Sports, Additional Solicitor General Sumathi Dharmavardhana informed the court through the Attorney General’s Department.
He mentioned that all the activities of creating the new Yapin will be done according to the advice of the technical committee of the Sarvade Cricket Council.
