Also, the European Union has set a price ceiling for crude oil imported from Russia by sea. Accordingly, the European Union has set a price of USD 60 per barrel or less for crude oil arriving by sea from Russia.

Meanwhile, since the start of the Ukraine-Russia war, India has been buying large amounts of crude oil from Russia despite the warnings of the US and European countries.

Last October, Russia topped the list of countries where India imported the most crude oil. India bought 22 percent of its total crude oil imports from Russia last month. Next to Russia are Iraq at 20.5 percent and Saudi Arabia at 16 percent and 2 and 3 on the list.

Like India, Pakistan is trying to buy crude oil from Russia at discounted rates. Pakistan Petroleum Minister Masadiq Malik traveled to Russia last month for talks on this matter.

In this case, Pakistan said that Russia has agreed to sell crude oil at a discounted price.

In this regard, Pakistan Petroleum Minister Masadiq Malik said that Russia has decided to supply crude oil to Pakistan at a discounted price. This crude oil is used to produce petrol and diesel. Russia is going to give petrol and diesel to Pakistan at discounted rates.

The Russian government is building new factories for the production of liquefied natural gas. “Russia has invited Pakistan to start negotiations for a long-term agreement like 2026 and 2026,” he said.
