May 18 Postponement of trial in connection with the commemorative event

Colombo (News 1st) Batticaloa – May 18 commemoration held in the Gron area
The trial of the case has been adjourned till the next 06th.

Batticaloa – Valaichenai District Court Judge M.H.M. The order was issued when the case was taken up for hearing yesterday (22) in the presence of Basil.

The Registrar of the Valaichenai District Court said that the suspects have been kept in remand till that day.

Batticaloa – Ten people, including two women, were arrested by Calcutta police on May 18 on charges of staging a commemoration event at Mullivaikkal in the Gran area.

None of the suspects were produced in court yesterday (22), a Newsfest reporter said.

Following this, the Valaichenai District Court judge adjourned the case till the next 06th.
