Colombia landslides – death toll rises to 34

In the Pueblo Rico region of the South American country of Colombia, due to the heavy rains that have been falling for the past few days, the rivers in the area have overflowed. Heavy landslides occurred yesterday in public residences on the banks of rivers.

The first phase of information was released that around 27 people have died in this landslide. Also, the country’s government said that many people were trapped in the mudslide and the army was engaged in rescuing them.

In this regard, the President of the country said that 27 people, including 3 children, were killed in the landslide. Rescue operations are ongoing there.

In this case, the number of people killed in the landslide has increased to 34. The rescue team said that 8 children were injured.
