Hyderabad: In Hyderabad, Telangana, Goldchika has set up an ATM machine to sell gold.
This ATM machine is loaded with 5 kg gold coins. These are 24 carat and 999 certified coins. This ATM machine has 8 options from 0.5g to 100g for people to purchase.
People can directly visit these ATMs and buy gold using their debit or credit card instead of going to jewellers. Gold can be bought based on the price of the day.
According to Prathap, the vice-president of Goldcica Company, “We have set up a gold ATM with the help of a startup company called OpenCube Technologies from Hyderabad. It is the first gold ATM in the country. Cameras and alarm are installed around the ATM room. Similarly, we are planning to set up 3000 gold ATMs across the country,” he said.
