India’s aid to Afghanistan … Pakistan announces permission!

by time news

The Taliban, who have been in power in Afghanistan, are running their interim government. In this situation, the economy of Afghanistan has been severely affected. There has also been a severe food shortage. According to the World Food Program, 80 percent of the population was malnourished before the Taliban, and 93 percent after the Taliban invaded the country.

In this context, the Government of India has decided to send 50,000 metric tons of wheat to Afghanistan to help alleviate food shortages. But Pakistan, which allows goods to come to India from Afghanistan through their country, is refusing to allow goods to pass through their country from India to Afghanistan.

Thus the problem of India supplying wheat to Afghanistan persisted. In this context, the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has announced that the Government of Pakistan will allow the wheat to be transported through their country as soon as it is finalized as to how the wheat will be transported.

Similarly, Imran Khan has announced that the government of Pakistan will pave the way for the Afghan people who have come to India for medical treatment to return to their home country.
