The Tel Aviv team of the Green Police at the Ministry of Environmental Protection has a joint enforcement activity with the Yarkon Crime Investigation Unit (YLF) and the Yansouf Unit for the Prevention of Fires in Open Areas, a unit shared with the Ministry of Environmental Protection and the Nature and Parks Authority.

The enforcement activity took place after monitoring and documenting trucks that dumped excess dirt and construction waste in open areas in the Narcisim Valley in the Gilit and Kiryat Ono areas, contrary to the Cleanliness Law, the Business Licensing Law and their regulations.

During the activity, three trucks were seized in Taiba, according to Section 6.2 of the Environmental Enforcement Law. The trucks were moved to a designated lot, and the main suspect was questioned under caution.

“The Green Police of the Ministry of Environmental Protection will continue to work in cooperation with the other enforcement agencies in order to eradicate environmental crime that may lead to damage to the public and the environment,” it was reported.
