Jeddah: The General Directorate of Traffic (Mooror) has issued a warning against overtaking school buses that stop to pick up and drop off children. The Traffic Directorate has confirmed that this will be considered a violation of the law and a fine of 3,000 Rials to 6,000 Rials will be levied.
Directors emphasized the importance of following traffic instructions while transporting school students. It also emphasized the need to properly guide children to exit the vehicle from the right side to ensure their safety and reduce risks.
The directorate has appealed to the students not to approach moving vehicles after reaching the school and not to cross the roads until the vehicles come to a complete stop.
