Riyadh: The Saudi Passport (Jawasat) Directorate has demanded that the sponsorship of sons who have completed 25 years of age who are on a dependent visa of their mother or father must be changed to the name of the institutions. Dependent visa can be continued only if students are over 21 years of age.
Those over 21 years of age on dependent visa must present documents proving that they are students when renewing their iqama. After the age of 25, you can stay in the country only on a work visa. That’s why Javasat explained that if those who are dependents of foreigners in Saudi Arabia on a family visa, if they are over 21 years of age, they must present education documents to renew their iqama, and those who have completed 25 years of age must change their sponsorship to the name of the employment organization.
