Despite spending crores on promotion, RRR film could not come close to Rajini’s Muthu film record. With this, the superstar has once again proved that Japan is his forte.
Actor Rajinikanth did not get the title of superstar easily. The Indian film industry accepted him as a superstar because of his worldwide appeal. Especially Rajinikanth has a huge fan base in Japan. The reason for this is the film Muthu in which he acted. With that one film, Rajinikanth has captured the hearts of the entire Japanese people.
It was only after this film that Indian films were gradually released in Japan and gained acceptance. However, no Indian film has ever broken the record of Rajinikanth’s Muthu there. Recently Rajamouli’s RRR movie released in Japan. Before the film was released there, they spent crores and did all the promotion.
