When King George VI of Britain died in 1952, Elizabeth II was elected Queen. She was 25 years old then. Elizabeth II has the honor of being the longest reigning queen in British history. In this case, a new Sikh place of worship Gurdwara has been built in Luton, Bedfordshire, in the East of England. It was opened by King Charles III of England. He also visited with interest the huge kitchen set up in the Gurudwara. Here food is prepared for free for 500 people per day. The Gurudwara said the service will be available on all days of the year. At the Gurudwara, Professor Gurch Randhawa of Indian origin welcomed the king. Notably, Gurch is a member of the local Sikh congregation and serves as director of the University of Bedfordshire’s Health Research Institute.

In this case, the British royal family shared a video of King Charles visiting the Gurudwara on their Twitter page. It said, “The King met the volunteers at the newly built Guru Nanak Gurudwara. Here volunteers serve food 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Gurudwaras have acted as vaccination centers during the Corona period.” In this case, this video has moved many people.
