The new poster of the film ‘Thangalan’ has been released to wish director Pa Ranjith on his birthday. Vikram is also in the poster with the director. The film’s music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar. Tamil Prabha co-wrote the highly anticipated ‘Thangalan’ as it is a Vikram and Pa Ranjith collaboration.
Produced by Studio Green and Neelam Productions, the film is produced by KE Gnanavel Raja. Producer Gnanavel Raja had earlier said that this will be the highest budget film under Studio Green’s banner so far. Directed by Pa Ranjith, the film is set in the Kolar Gold Fields of Karnataka. It is reported that the film ‘Tangalan’ is being prepared based on an incident that took place in the Kolar Gold Fields during the British era in the 19th century.
Malayalams Parvathy and Malavika Mohanan are the main female characters in the film. The movie ‘Thangalan’ also stars Pashupati, Hari Krishnan, Anpu Durai and others. A Kishore is handling the cinematography of the film. Chiyan Vikram’s 61st movie ‘Thangalante’ is art directed by SS Murthy.
