Karthikeyan (age 34), a car driver, is a resident of Akila Nagar, Tiruvannaikaval, Nadukondayam Petty, Trichy. He fell in love with Vasantha Priya and got married 10 years ago. He is working as a PRO in a private car company in Karumandapam area of Tiruchi.
The couple had a son Saminathan (8). Karthikeyan went to Dubai for work 3 years ago as the income here was not enough. There he worked as a driver in a company.
From time to time he visited his hometown. His mother Vasantha, wife and son lived in a rented one-storey house in Akila Nagar. Meanwhile, Karthikeyan returned to his hometown from Dubai three days ago. Yesterday morning his wife Vasantha Priya left for work as usual.
Meanwhile, Karthikeyan also hanged himself after killing his mother Vasantha and son Saminathan after locking the house from the inside in the evening. The police led by Srirangam Police Assistant Commissioner Nivetha Lakshmi rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies of the deceased and sent them to the Trichy Government Hospital for post-mortem examination.
Later, when the police searched the living room, they found a letter. In that, no one is responsible for our death. Police said that Karthikeyan had mentioned that he would take the mother and son with him so that they would not suffer.
