Brazil is the best team in Qatar World Cup: Croatian coach
The FIFA World Cup matches are nearing their final stages. In just seven more matches, the new world champions will kiss the cup on the soil of Qatar.
On Friday at 8:30 PM IST, the quarter-final matches will begin on the grounds of Qatar with the match between Brazil and Croatia. Argentina will face the Netherlands on Saturday.
But before the match, Croatian coach Zlatko Dalic has openly expressed his opinion about the Brazil team.
“Brazil are the best and strongest team in the Qatar World Cup. Look at their team, they are a scary team by any measure of selection, quality of players, skills, star value,” Dalic said.
“We have a big challenge ahead of us. It is difficult to play against Brazil who play good football. Brazil are playing with great quality, speed and confidence. The quality of their players is proven.
But we are not about to give up. We have nothing to fear,’ he added.
They are convinced that the game with Brazil is not a battle between equal powers. But he also stated that Brazil is not a nightmare for the Croatian team, who are playing with dedication and confidence.
For Brazil, Neymar, Vinicius, Martinelli and Richarlison will lead Brazil’s attacks from the front. In midfield, Bruno Guerrez and Paqueta will deliver the ball relentlessly to the forward line, while Casemiro and Fred will keep the ball out of their own half.
Thiago Silva, Danilo, Bremer and Militao will form the defense. On the other hand, Luka Modric, Perisic and Petkovic will lead Croatia.
If they win Friday’s match, Brazil will face the winners of Argentina-Netherlands match on Saturday morning in the semi-finals.
