There is a limit: the punishment the British want to impose on Harry and Meghan

Harry and Meghan storm: The first part of the docu-series of the Dukes of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, appeared on Netflix yesterday (Thursday) – and is already causing a huge stir in the kingdom, although the British estimate that the real “poison” will only arrive next week, in the second part of the series.

A minister in the British government called the couple “problematic” and “irrelevant”, the member of parliament from Sussex said he was ashamed that Harry and Meghan carry the title of the county, and another member of parliament is already preparing a private bill that would allow the royal title to be removed from the couple – as punishment for the attacks on their part against the kingdom.

Guy Offerman, the British conservative minister, said he would boycott the series and not watch it on Netflix. “They (Harry and Meghan) are irrelevant to this country and the royal family that we all, I believe, support,” he said on the BBC.

“I don’t think it has a material impact on the royal family. I certainly won’t be watching it,” Offerman said, “I would urge everyone to boycott Netflix and make sure we really focus on the important things.”

At the same time, in Britain they are already pressing for the “punishment” of the couple, and the member of parliament from Sussex, Tim Lawton, began calling for Harry and Meghan to be stripped of the title of Dukes of Sussex. “I’m ashamed that this embarrassing couple carries our great county title,” Lawton tweeted, “It’s time to take the title back from those who are so disrespectful.”

And from an idea – in fact: the British Daily Mail quoted Bob Seeley, a conservative member of parliament, who called the attacks by Merkel and the prince “aggressive” and announced that he would submit a private bill that would allow Harry and Meghan to be stripped of the county title, as was done in the past with members of the aristocracy who sided with the Germans during the war The first and second world.

The chances of private bills are very low, but Seeley assured that the bill is “just the beginning”.

Harry and Meghan’s first date, from the series:

As mentioned, the series is published in two parts, with the first part released yesterday. In three chapters that begin with the story of Meghan and Harry’s introduction, the first date to which Prince Harry was late and also touches on episodes of attacks from the media, Prince Harry’s childhood and the story of the couple’s wedding. Among the royals, it is feared that the real “poison” awaits in the next three episodes, which will be published next week, on December 15.

Last week, a royal expert told the British “Express” that the red line for King Charles III is attacks on his wife Camilla. “I’m sure it’s true that Charles will go to great lengths to maintain a relationship with Harry, but there is a limit,” the expert claimed. “The king forgives Harry for everything, except for dragging Camilla into the mud.”
