The Congress is in a crisis as it is unable to decide on the Chief Minister in Himachal despite winning the majority. The reason for the crisis is that the leaders continue to tug of war for the post of Chief Minister. PCC president Pratibha Singh and former state president Sukhwinder Singh Sukh are in the running for the post of chief minister. There are reports that Mukesh Agnihotri, who was the leader of the Legislative Assembly party, is also being considered for the post of Chief Minister. Due to the dispute, the assembly party meeting was adjourned to the evening. Activists gathered at the PCC headquarters and raised slogans for Phenomenon. The activists had also blocked the vehicle of AICC observers.
