FLAMENCO A formidable flamenco guitarist, Pedro Bacan died on the road linking Seville to his native village of Lebrija, in Andalusia, in January 1997. On the eve of concerts scheduled for the release of an album of feverish power, recorded in public in 1996, at the MC93 in Bobigny, where he was surrounded by Antonio Moya (second guitar), Inès Bacan, Pepa de Benito, Joselito de Lebrija (vocals), Antonio Peña (palmas), Concha Vargas and Carmen Ledesma (dance) , his family ” : the Pinini clan. Twenty-five years later, the PeeWee label! pays homage to him by reissuing, in the format of a neat book-disc (black and white photos by Philippe Fresco, trilingual 84-page booklet), the remastered initial album, plus an EP of unreleased tracks dedicated to Pedro Bacan solo, including interview snippets with the guitarist from the documentary Ines, my sisterdirected in 1996 by Carole Fierz.
