Saudi Arabia’s Public Security Department said that citizens of Gulf countries who wish to travel to Qatar in their own vehicles must obtain a travel permit in advance.
According to the notification, all vehicles arriving at the Saudi-Qatar border without a permit will be sent back. The notification comes in the context of the fact that many people who arrived without a permit had to return without getting permission to enter Qatar.
Citizens and expatriates of GCC countries who do not have a ticket or HAYA card for World Cup matches are allowed to enter Qatar. You can reach Qatar by land and air. But those going to Qatar in their own vehicles need prior permission.

Apart from this, those who intend to go to Qatar by bus after parking their vehicles at the Saudi-Qatar border must take a parking reservation. Apart from this, the vehicles of those who do not have bus reservation to go to Qatar from Salwa border post will also be sent back from the border.
