The Ev. Day care center Gräfenberg of the Diakonie Bamberg-Forchheim are happy. The nursing home Haus am Kirschgarten from Pflegeteam Franken presented a check for 600 euros.
The day-care center children came to the seniors themselves to hand over the donations and brought lanterns and songs with them. But there was still a surprise: a lovingly designed thank you box with chocolate and tattoos.
“We are using the money for a prevention project run by ‘End of Bullying Heroes’. This strengthening program for children is about saying ‘no’ and learning to set limits, how to deal with fears and to strengthen self-confidence,” reported daycare manager Michaela Raum and thanked her warmly for the donation.
The VR-Bank Gräfenberg also supports this project of the Diakonie-Kita and also the equipment of the children for the forest days with 500 euros. The day-care center children thanked them with a visit. And then the Christmas tree was decorated in the Gräfenberg branch of the United Raiffeisen Banks. Now the tree welcomes visitors to the bank with colorful handicrafts made by daycare children. red
