Major brand baby clothes recalled due to risk of respiratory arrest

by time news

Baby clothes sold in La Halle stores across France are subject to a recall. There is a “risk of detachment of the slider and the zip puller” which could cause respiratory arrest, indicates Rappel Conso, the site for dangerous product alerts.

In total, five models of sweatshirts and zipped vests for girls and boys from 0 to 36 months are affected by this recall: one from the Creeks brand and the other four from the Pat and Ripaton brand. All were released until December 3, 2022. The Creeks item is the Creb1 Zeep_Creeks model. It was marketed from February 19, 2022.

Clothes not to wear

The Empreinte model from the Pat et Ripaton brand was sold in stores from February 4, 2022, as was the New Mignon zipped cardigan. The Ruffy vest had been on sale since February 15. Finally, the Mignonne 1 model had been on the market since December 16, 2020.

Due to a risk of ingestion of these detachable elements, it is recommended that children no longer wear these garments. Customers can bring them back to the point of sale in order to benefit from a refund, before the end of the recall procedure, the date of which has been set for January 9. La Halle customer service can be reached on 0 969 369 610.
