THE CHEKING PROCESS – American scientists have announced a major scientific breakthrough by producing more energy than that used for the lasers needed for the fusion process.
Its advocates promise clean, abundant energy. An energy that does not present any risk, and that does not generate long-lived waste. Nuclear fusion (and not fission in our current reactors) rightly feeds hopes. And American scientists have announced a major scientific breakthrough on this particular process of nuclear reaction imagined several decades ago.
