Television actress Tzoutif Grant published a story on her Instagram page yesterday (Wednesday) in which she paid tribute to retired judge Yitzhak Banai who died on Tuesday this week. Grant published the obituary for Yitzhak, and wrote in praise of the family: “Some people at their funeral, when they see their children and grandchildren and friends, realize that they have grown mighty sequoia trees, with roots of values and a beating heart.”
The TV woman added and wrote excitedly: “When I heard Orna Avitar and Efrat, your children Yitzchak, my heart trembled with excitement.” At the end of her remarks, Scout Grant signed off with a eulogy to his memory: “What a special man, I’m sure you will stay forever.”
Retired judge Yitzhak Banai passed away
As a reminder, the head of the famous Banai family, retired judge Yitzhak Banai, died on Tuesday, at the age of 92. Banai, retired vice president of the Beer Sheva District Court, was born in Jerusalem in 1930, specialized in a private attorney’s office and with Judge M. Peretz in the Jerusalem District Court, In 1969 he was elected to the position of judge in the Magistrate’s Court, in 1974 he was appointed to be a registrar in the District Court and then in 1978 he was appointed to a permanent position as a judge in the District Court in Be’er Sheva until he retired in 1999.
