Mahindra’s XUV-700 and Scorpio N XUVs are manufactured at the Chakkan car manufacturing plant near Pune, Maharashtra. This factory is now 5G ready. For this, Tech Mahindra has joined hands with Airtel.

All modern cars are manufactured with modern technology. Most of the features that drive cars are made with automated technologies. Chips are programmed with the help of new software through the computer to implement these automatic functions. All the movements of the car are controlled by an electronic control module called ECM. Modern softwares are used for this.

This provides a luxurious experience to the drivers and improves safety with early warnings from sensors. Tech Mahindra has now joined hands with Airtel to further develop this technology. Ajay Sidkara, Director and CEO, Airtel, says that the new 5G technology approach will bring more modernity to car manufacturing and enable precise programs to be executed more accurately and without delay.

In addition, 5G services will be effectively used for product technologies including car colors, exterior design, quality testing, and research for improvement, and marketing such as demand, orders, product status, and delivery for new vehicles can be completed accurately without delay. This will also improve the efficiency of production and delivery. Airtel has also said that many more such technological developments will be carried out using 5G technology.
