- Basic services have been restored in Kyiv Saturday evening December 17, said Klitschko, the mayor of the capital. He added that residents had been reconnected to the water network in the morning.

- Russia has taken delivery of Iranian suicide bombers. A representative of the intelligence services of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, quoted by the media Ukrainians, claims that Moscow has received a new shipment of Iranian-made Shahed-131 and Shaed-136 drones. According to Ukrainian intelligence, this delivery is less important than the previous one. Ukrainian intelligence adds that the Russians have so far not used Iranian ballistic missiles against Ukraine.
- Moldova suspends channels retransmitting Russian television programs. Russia accuses Moldova of “political censorship” after this small Eastern European country suspended the broadcasting authorization of six television channels accused of disinformation. Chisinau had explained this decision on Friday by the “lack of correct information” in the coverage by these channels of national events and Russian military operations in Ukraine, in particular.
