The American Department of Justice announced today (Saturday) that it accuses Alexei Breiman, an Israeli living in the United States, of attempting to smuggle equipment to the Russian military and violating American sanctions. Along with Breiman, six other suspects were charged – five Russian citizens and an American citizen.

The indictment states that Breiman and his wife Daria used their online art store as a cover for smuggling the prohibited equipment into Russia.
