Givatayim municipality will receive government funding for the design of seven evacuation and construction complexes. The Governmental Authority for Urban Renewal will invest millions of shekels in financing urban renewal programs in Givatayim to promote a three-complex renewal plan, which will add approximately 870 housing units to the city. Ran Konik, Mayor of Givatayim: “This is significant news for the city of Givatayim, to promote the planning of seven more evacuation and construction complexes with the Governmental Authority for Urban Renewal and with the planning manager. It is also of crucial importance to the city in terms of the addition of housing units, public buildings, commerce and employment that are so needed in Givatayim and also in the aspect of increasing the planning certainty that will help promote further regeneration procedures in the city.”
