The PNV has registered a motion in Congress to demand that the Government speed up the distribution of Next Generation Funds, including the part related to loans worth some 80,000 million that the Executive expects to request before the end of the year.
As stated in the proposal, to which Europa Press has had access, the nationalist party understands that, after more than a year and a half since the approval of the Recovery Plan, “doubts arise” both about its execution and its impact on the real economy.
Thus, the PNV urges the Government to adapt the mechanisms and measures designed in the Recovery Plan to guarantee the management, channeling and execution of European funds, and in particular of the Perte. All this to facilitate administrative procedures, relax the requirements in relation to “State aid”, make execution terms more flexible, adapt the calls quickly and reduce the guarantees required.
ONE MONTH TO RESPOND TO THE REGIONS
Likewise, the jeltzale formation requests a response within a month to the proposals presented by the autonomous communities to the addendum to the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
In this sense, the Basque group urges the adoption of regional criteria in this addendum that the Government will present to the European Commission for the awarding of the part of the loans of the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism assigned to it, as well as the resources from the energy plan REPowerEU.
For its part, the PNV requests that private projects be financed with these loans, articulating means for private and public-private companies and organizations to access financial instruments to facilitate the implementation of their projects.
The proposal, which is a consequence of the motion addressed last Wednesday to Minister María Jesús Montero, also includes the request to create a Recovery and Resilience Mechanism Bond to finance transformative projects of a public nature.
