CHENNAI: A consultative meeting of the People’s Neeti Maiyam party executives is being held in Annanagar, Chennai. Actor Kamal Haasan started the Makkal Neeti Maiyam party in 2018.
Subsequently, the People’s Justice Center contested the 2019 parliamentary elections alone, and contested the 2021 Assembly elections in alliance with the Samattuwa People’s Party and the Democratic Party of India.
In these 2 elections, the People’s Neeti Maiyam Party got significant votes but did not have a chance to win. In this situation, the People’s Justice Center has started consulting on the preparations for the upcoming 2024 parliamentary elections.
In that regard, a consultative meeting is being held today in Annanagar, Chennai under the leadership of Kamal Haasan, in which the executive committee, executive committee and district secretaries of the People’s Justice Center are participating.
It has been revealed that Kamal Haasan is consulting with the party executives in this consultation meeting regarding the formulation of strategies for the parliamentary elections and formation of alliances.
