Recently, Asim Mahmood mentioned an interesting incident that happened to him in a TV show. He said that he had done B from Government College of Commerce, Sialkot and used to set up Linda Bazar near this college. Asim said that one day he was passing by Linda Bazaar with his friends and decided to shop there. He bought a jacket with many pockets. Bought that jacket for 100 rupees.

Back home, Asim decided to wash the jacket and after washing it, ironed it, while ironing, he noticed something in one of the pockets. When he checked his pocket, a 100-pound note came out, which was considered a large amount at that time. The next day, Asim exchanged the note with a currency dealer and got 9 thousand rupees in return.
Asim added that at that time he used to get a weekly pocket money of Rs 500 and he was very happy when he got that £100 note.
With this money, they bought for a party with their friends and with the remaining money they bought beautiful things for themselves.
