The victim has an injury on her head and face, she has bruises and bruises on her hands and feet
District Prosecutor’s Office-Plovdiv initiated pre-trial proceedings for causing bodily harm to a 15-year-old girl after being beaten by another girl. As a result of blows, an injury was inflicted on the victim’s head and face, there were bruises and abrasions on her hands and feet, which led to a health disorder, the state prosecution reported.
Investigative actions are being carried out in the case – witness interviews, a forensic medical examination has been appointed regarding the nature and extent of the bodily injury, recordings from security cameras have been seized, etc.
The pre-trial proceedings were initiated on the basis of the collected data, after the District Prosecutor’s Office – Plovdiv self-referred to publications in the media and ordered an inspection carried out by employees of the First RU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The violence was committed by a 16-year-old girl, who met the victim near a public building in the “Yuzhen” area.
After gathering evidence and clarifying the factual situation, the supervising prosecutor will decide whether to file charges in the case.
The deadline for the investigation is two months.
