On social networks, several Internet users did not fail to recall that Emmanuel Macron had inaugurated in 2017 the LGV allowing to rally, in less than an hour and a half Rennes from Paris, by train, a means of transport much less emitting of greenhouse gases than the plane.

The two members of the government were also greeted with pans and hostile slogans when they arrived around 10 a.m. at the Amandine Mallet primary school in Saint-Germain-sur-Ille.
This trip comes as Emmanuel Macron should soon present his complete ecological planning strategy, and while France will experience another week of high heat.
The government also encourages the use of the train by prohibiting certain commercial flights when there is a rail alternative of less than 2h30.
