A 21-year-old girl was seriously injured this Friday night after being run over on Avenida de la Albufera, at number 264, by a vehicle that later fled, sources from Madrid Emergencies have informed Europa Press.
The run over caused the young woman to be displaced several tens of meters and, when the Samur-Civil Protection toilets arrived, she was unconscious with multiple traumas, including a severe head injury. Thus, she was stabilized and transferred to the 12 de Octubre hospital in a very serious condition.
Shortly after the event, and thanks to the collaboration of the Madrid Municipal Police and the National Police, the driver of the car was located in Villaverde. Agents of the Municipal Police of Madrid investigate what happened.
