A 28-year-old motorcyclist was recently hit (Saturday) by a vehicle on Road 44 near Moshav Petahya. MDA medics and paramedics found the motorcyclist with a severe head injury and no signs of life and were forced to determine his death. The driver of the vehicle involved was taken to Ichilov Hospital in a light condition.
MDA paramedic Itai Peretz said: “The motorcyclist was lying on the road a few meters from the motorcycle, unconscious and suffering from a severe bleeding head injury. We performed medical tests but he was without signs of life and we have no choice but to determine his death. “
Road 44 between Petahya and Carmei Yosef is blocked for traffic in both directions until the end of the incident, drivers are asked to choose alternative routes.
Police traffic inspectors opened an investigation, collecting findings from the scene and means of documentation, to determine the circumstances of the accident.
