A vehicle overturned recently (Sunday) on the side of the road, on Road 767 near the Alumot junction in the Jordan Valley. Three fire crews from the Tiberias station under the command of Rabbi Reshef Itzik Ben Hamo were rushed to the scene and upon arrival identified that it was a self-inflicted car accident with a man trapped inside the vehicle.

Crews immediately began operations to rescue the trapped person from the vehicle that overturned after deviating from the road.

The rescue operations lasted for many minutes because the vehicle from which the firefighters rescued the trapped person was badly injured when he was close to the tree he hit and it was necessary to use hydraulic rescue tools to remove the victim from the vehicle.

After the rescue operations were completed and the vehicle removed, the victim was transferred to the care of the medical personnel who were at the scene.

MDA medics and paramedics performed medical tests and found that the driver of the car, about 30 years old, was rescued with no signs of life and had to determine his death.

MDA paramedic Aharon Fischer and MDA paramedic Taleb Abdullah said: “When we arrived at the scene, we saw an inverted vehicle about 40 meters from the road. A 30-year-old man was trapped in the driver’s seat, he was unconscious, with multiple systemic injuries. We performed medical tests, he was without a pulse and without breathing and after a short time we had to determine his death. “

ZAKA teams handled the findings at the scene and in honor of the dead.

Investigators from the Police Traffic Division began investigating the circumstances of the fatal accident.
