A 30-year-old motorcyclist was recently injured (Saturday) by a car on Aharonovich Street, corner of Raines in Bnei Brak. MDA medics and paramedics together with paramedics from ‘Rescue Dan’ provided him with medical treatment and he was taken to Beilinson Hospital in a difficult and unstable condition with a head injury.

MDA medics Avi Reimhond and Moshe Sassi said: “The motorcyclist was lying on the road next to the vehicle, unconscious and suffering from a severe head injury. We immediately began life-saving primary medical care that included stopping bleeding and fixations, put him in an intensive care unit and evacuated him to the hospital when his condition was serious and unstable. The driver of the vehicle that was involved in the accident was examined in the field and did not need medical treatment. “

Laser Margalit, a paramedic from the Rescue Union who first arrived at the scene, said: “This is an accident involving a vehicle and a motorcyclist who was seriously injured. With the help of other medics, we provided him with initial assistance. “

Bnei Greenman, another paramedic from the Rescue Union, said: “After the initial assistance we provided him at the scene, he was evacuated in an intensive care unit to Beilinson Hospital, suffering from injuries and head injuries.”

Rescue paramedics Lipa Hirsch and Daniel Horberg said: “We were rushed to the scene of a serious car accident, in which we found a 30-year-old motorcyclist lying on the road unconscious with injuries to his head, abdomen and limbs after colliding with a vehicle. “Together with other paramedics from the rescue, we provided him with primary medical care on the spot and he was evacuated in critical condition to the trauma room at Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva.”

Investigators from the Police Traffic Division are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
