The Central District Attorney’s Office (Criminal) submitted to the Central District Court, an indictment against Iman Moserati (32) from Ramla for murder, obstruction of justice and destruction of evidence.

The indictment filed this morning by the lawyer Omer Segal-Rosenbaum, indicates that against the background of an ongoing conflict between Musrati’s family and the family of Arpafan Alwahwah (56) of Lod, Musrati and other people, acting together as an assassination squad, decided to kill him. In order to carry out the murder, the liquidation squad was equipped, among other things, with stolen vehicles, weapons and incendiary material to destroy the evidence.

The squad decided to murder Arpapan on his way to or from work, therefore, they followed him using the two stolen vehicles as he drove to work. When he went back towards his home and arrived in Lod, the others surrounded him in front in a way that blocked the journey, and I was removed and added in the other vehicle from behind.

Two people who were in the car in front went in the direction of Arpapan, shot at him from a short range and caused his death. Moserati passed them by and continued to the meeting place arranged after the murder, where the vehicle from which the two got out and shot was set on fire. The second vehicle was hidden in a parking lot in Tel Aviv, and after a few days, Moserati and two other people arrived to return the original license plate to the vehicle and make it disappear, but were stopped on the way.

In the request for arrest submitted by lawyer Segal Rosenbaum, it was stated that “… this is a carefully planned murder – the respondent and the others conducted themselves as a professional, organized and planned assassination squad – they ambushed, followed and during exercise they eliminated the deceased at noon on Friday in the middle of busy Blood Street in front of passers-by.”

The indictment attributes to Mosrati the crimes of conspiracy to commit a crime, intentional murder under aggravated circumstances, carrying weapons and ammunition, destroying evidence and obstructing legal proceedings in concert.
