A 37-year-old man was seriously injured in a truck accident on Route 40

Rescue Union Spokeswoman – Southern District: Rescue Union medical teams provided first aid at the scene of an accident on Route 40 near Gorel Junction.
Ben Hur, a paramedic from the Rescue Union, said: “This is an accident involving two trucks. We provided first aid at the scene to a 37-year-old truck driver who was rescued from his truck by firefighters in fair condition.”
His brother Yitzhak Melench, also a paramedic from the Rescue Union, added: “After the initial assistance we provided him at the scene, he turned to Saroka Medical Center in Be’er Sheva, suffering from bruises and injuries to his limbs and upper body.”
