A 5.7 magnitude earthquake was felt in Israel

A strong 5.7 magnitude earthquake between Turkey and Greece was felt today (Wednesday) in Gush Dan. The Seismology Department at the Geological Institute announced that at 2:37 PM (Israel time), an earthquake of magnitude 5.7 occurred, 638 kilometers northwest of Nahariya.

The last time an earthquake was felt in Israel was last July. The intensity of the noise recorded was 3.1 and it was felt at a distance of nine kilometers northwest of the Galilean axis.
