A 50-year-old man whose identity has not yet been ascertained was moderately to seriously injured a short time ago (Friday) in a violent incident on Balfour Street in Bat Yam. The MDA team in the Ayalon region arrived at the scene, provided initial medical treatment and evacuated the injured person with a penetrating injury to the Wolfson Hospital in Holon.
An emergency medical medic riding a MDA Kfir Versano motorcycle said: “The wounded man was lying at the bus stop while he was conscious and suffering from a penetrating injury from his body and difficulty breathing after being sprayed with tear gas. We gave him medical treatment that included stopping the bleeding, dressings and medication and evacuated him for further treatment in the hospital when his condition was serious.”
The police began investigating the incident. Several lines of inquiry are being explored.
