The incident of a 65-year-old man in the United States who went to rob a bank for just one dollar for his strange desire has surprised many.
Donald Santacroce, a 65-year-old man, walked into a Wells Fargo Bank in Salt Lake City on Monday. Then he gave a letter to the bank employees there.
In it, “Forgive me for doing this. But this is robbery. So please give me a dollar. Thank you very much” wrote Donald Santagros. The bank employees agreed to his request and asked him to leave the bank after completing his robbery. However, the man did not leave and told the employees to call the police. The employees, who did not understand what was happening, called the police.
Later, the police arrived late and arrested the man. The man then explained the reason behind the incident to the police and said, “I want to go to the Central Jail. That’s why I did this,” he said.
The police also spoke about this and said, “It was late for the police to come. “Donald said the bank employees were lucky he didn’t have a gun,” they said.
